My Philosophy

Why Doesn't Dieting Work?

A diet is temporary, and it does not take into account your proximity/relationship with food, your daily activities, eating out, and most importantly it does not teach you better food choices and intuitive eating.

My approach is different: I will help you build an excellent relationship with food to achieve your nutritional goals. Whether your goal is to maintain a healthy weight, to lose or gain weight or achieve healthy eating patterns for you and your family I will guide you in achieving it by using the mindful and intuitive approach.

My mindful and intuitive approach teaches each person to recognize the amount of food each one needs to feel satisfied, to be healthy and to reach their healthy weight. Healthy weight is individual. I will teach and assist you with reaching your set point, learning to eat in response to your hunger and fullness cues, following your needs and cravings mindfully, trusting yourself and your body and improving your body image discomfort and issues.

  • Listen to your hunger and fullness
  • Give yourself time to eat and savor your meals
  • Be present, be in the moment
  • Trust your body
  • Check in with your emotions
